Maryvale was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  3-1 to the Browne Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  last Thursday.

 Viridiana Trejo Rios paced Maryvale's offense, picking up seven kills. Trejo Rios got some help from  Melissa Higuera and her eight assists.  Amberlynn Chacon controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Maryvale's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Browne, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record  this season.
