Meanwhile, Washington-Liberty put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Wakefield 41-21. South Lakes' win bumped their season record to 10-0 while Westfield's loss dropped theirs to 7-3.
Westfield strolled past Washington-Liberty when the teams last played back in September of 2022 by a score of 21-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westfield since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
