Robbie Cole and Danny Goff provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Whitko. The longest such play in Three Rivers this season, the connection resulted in 75 yards.
Southwood's Nathan Hollars rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Wildcats last week. Hollars' team lost to Whitko as he sprinted for 58 yards on the play and finished with 137 in all.
Cole threw for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 9-23 with 1 interceptions.
Tanner Andrews was the best receiver in the league this week as Tippecanoe Valley defeated Manchester. Andrews racked up 8 receptions for 290 yards. Landin Madsen helped Tippecanoe Valley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 35 yards.
Cole put up the best numbers in passing as Southwood lost to Josh Mohr's team. Cole's favorite target this week was Goff, who caught 3 passes for 93 yards.
Devin Gerding was the best running back in Three Rivers this week. He ran for 133 yards on 10 carries as the Wildcats bested the Squires. Tanner Hughes also contributed to the rushing game with 126 yards on the ground.
Andrews had a great week catching the football as Tippecanoe Valley defeated Manchester.
Jeff Shriver's team's Ben Shriver and Andrews have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Shriver has thrown for 543 yards this season, while Andrews has 16 catches for 410 yards. Hollars from Dave Snyder's team leads the league in rushing with 441 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Rochester takes on second place Northfield.
