Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard on Friday.
On Wednesday, Capuchino got the win against the Sharks by a conclusive 66-46. Capuchino pushed the score to 58-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Sharks cut but never quite recovered from.
Mills has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Aragon by a score of 59-47 on Saturday. That's two games straight that Mills has won by exactly 12 points.
Mills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tanay Rai, who scored 19 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rai has scored all season. Bacorro was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Capuchino's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13. As for Mills, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
Capuchino came up short against the Vikings when the teams last played back in January, falling 42-36. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Rai, who scored 15 points.
