Football Game Preview: Kingston Redskins vs. Hugo Buffaloes

Kingston has gone 8-1 against Hugo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Redskins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Hugo will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Kingston extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Redskins breezed past Prague to the tune of 42-0. 42 seems to be a good number for the Redskins as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hugo). They put the hurt on Roland with a sharp 58-38 win on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-12.

Kingston better keep an eye on Jayka Santillan. He was instrumental in Hugo's win, throwing for 374 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90.5% of his passes. Those four passing touchdowns gave Santillan a new career-high.

Hugo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 223 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Kingston, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything came up roses for Kingston against Hugo in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 42-14 victory. Do the Redskins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffaloes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
