Baseball Game Preview: College Prep Cougars vs. Redwood Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, College Prep will face off against Redwood Christian. The Cougars will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

College Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Redwood Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday.

College Prep got a great performance from Jonah Holloway-Butts as he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. Holloway-Butts has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Eleck Fa was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. John Fa also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Redwood Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.
