It's playoff time, and Academic Magnet had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Andrew Jackson Volunteers a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Academic Magnet have won 13 matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Academic Magnet's seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those seven games. As for Andrew Jackson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 18-4 record.
