With a playoff win on the line, Fossil Ridge rose to the challenge  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Arapahoe Warriors as they made off with  a  9-0 win. Considering the SaberCats have won 14 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Vedant Sharma looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Fossil Ridge let  Sam Goodrum and  Mason Clark run wild. Goodrum  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI, while  Clark  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Brady Bradford, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run and one  double.
 Fossil Ridge was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arapahoe only posted a  batting average of  .050.
Fossil Ridge is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Arapahoe,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 15-9 record.
