A Season-Best Performance from Ethan Mcnulty Leads Conemaugh Valley over West Shamokin
On Friday, Conemaugh Valley got the W thanks in part to Ethan Mcnulty playing the best football he has all season. Mcnulty rushed for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 20.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards.
The win snapped Conemaugh Valley's losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 1-7 record. Mcnulty and Conemaugh Valley will face off against Conemaugh Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ty Dumm Dazzles in Northern Cambria Victory
Ty Dumm posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 233 yards while picking up 13.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 144 yards on 14 of 20 attempts.
Unfortunately for Conemaugh Township, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Dumm. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Dumm saw the Indians), he rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Layo Came Up Big in Portage's 16-0 Victory
Bode Layo put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 41 receiving yards.
Unfortunately for Purchase Line, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Layo. Layo picked up 159 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Red Dragons duked it out back in September of 2023.

Eric Korhut Puts an End to Conemaugh Valley's Losing Streak on Friday
Conemaugh Valley's seven-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Eric Korhut. Korhut was unstoppable on Friday, rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Korhut has averaged 21.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 1.71 receiving yards per game.

Dylan Stephens put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 100 yards on only nine carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards.
The win (which was United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United]'s fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Stephens and United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] will take on Purchase Line at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
