Baseball Recap: NJ Ramchandran Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Penn Hills

Franklin Regional won against Penn Hills on Tuesday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Franklin Regional never let Penn Hills get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won eight in a row.

NJ Ramchandran was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Lemke, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Franklin Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Penn Hills only posted an OBP of .077.

Franklin Regional's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Penn Hills, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
