Mount Pisgah Academy won the last time they faced the Bethel Christian Academy Eagles, and things went their way on Thursday too. Mount Pisgah Academy secured a 43-37 W over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mount Pisgah Academy.
Bethel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Logan Callahan, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. It was the first time this season that Callahan scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Jones, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Bethel Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. This was only their 11th loss (out of 11 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Mount Pisgah Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Pisgah Academy will square off against the Kingfishers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Mountain View Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Eagles in their respective states (the Mustangs are ranked 286th in South Carolina, while the Eagles are ranked 688th in North Carolina).
