After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley Christian, Wellsville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Leetonia Bears with a sharp 70-48 win. The game marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season.

Leetonia lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jacob Weikart, who posted eight points. Ralph Spotleson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Wellsville's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Leetonia, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Wellsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-48 victory against Southern on the 31st. As for Leetonia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 45-43 loss against United on the 31st.
