The Brownstown Bombers lost against the St. Anthony Bulldogs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Brownstown took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Anthony. Brownstown has struggled against St. Anthony recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Brownstown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lexi Seabaugh, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Dayana Haslett, who scored 14 points.
Brownstown's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for St. Anthony, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.
Brownstown's road trip will continue as they head out to face Dieterich at 5:30 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Dieterich focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday. As for St. Anthony, they will take on Altamont at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Altamont will be looking to extend their current 19-game winning streak.
