Basketball Recap: Eminence's Win Ends 14-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Eminence came into Wednesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the International Gryphons with a 41-37 win on Wednesday. For the Eels, this counts as revenge for the 63-55 victory the Gryphons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

International's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Kreutz, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Johnson, who had 13 points and three steals.

Eminence's win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3. As for International, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eminence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 46-43 loss against Indiana Math & Science Academy North on the 6th. As for International, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-11 defeat against Cambridge City Lincoln on the 6th.
