Valley has been away from home for two games now, but  on Tuesday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Highland Hornets  at 6:30  p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most  goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Rio Grande  a   10-0 shutout  on Saturday. It was an even better day for  Maria Pierson as  she scored six goals for  her team.
 Meanwhile, Highland made easy work of Rio Grande  on Thursday and carried off  a  9-0 win. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for the Hornets this season.
 Valley pushed their record up to 3-4 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Highland,  the  win also got them back to even at 4-4.
 Valley was able to grind out a solid  victory over Highland in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023, winning  3-1. Does  Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Highland turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
