In other batting news, Luke Kane was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Mateyak, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Tamaqua always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marian Catholic only posted an OBP of .118.
Tamaqua's record now sits at 2-0. As for Schuylkill Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
