Meanwhile, Mount Calvary Christian pushed their score all the way to 58 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a tough 81-58 loss at the hands of Lancaster Country Day. Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Josiah Masters, who scored 21 points. Avery Kopcha was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
New Covenant Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mount Calvary Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. It's a different story for Mount Calvary Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 56.9 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
