Wolfson hasn't had much luck against Paxon School For Advanced Studies recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wolfpack will take on the Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.
Wolfson came out on top against Parker on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run first inning. The Wolfpack never let the Braves get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won five in a row.
Addison Booher and Madison Saling were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Booher pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Saling tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Booher has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Booher went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Saling earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Saling has posted since back in February of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Brown, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Hannah Roberts was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Wolfson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Paxon School For Advanced Studies was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against Atlantic Coast, falling 11-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Golden Eagles were not able to get on the board.
Paxon School For Advanced Studies' loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Wolfson, their record now sits at 7-3.
Wolfson might still be hurting after the 16-1 defeat they got from Paxon School For Advanced Studies in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Wolfpack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
