California had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt St. Paul Lutheran on Friday. The Pintos blew past the Saints 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Pintos, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

California's record is now 16-9. As for St. Paul Lutheran, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

Coming up, California will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Southern Boone at 5:00 p.m. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Pintos surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will take on Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
