West Fork came into Friday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Splendora Wildcats on Friday, sneaking past 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Gators: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Tuesday, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

The victory got West Fork back to even at 10-10. As for Splendora, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Looking ahead, West Fork will challenge El Campo at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. El Campo's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so West Fork's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Splendora, they will face off against Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
