The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Palmer 47-7 on the road. The result was nothing new for Scurry-Rosser, who have now won eight matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.
Kayden Bradshaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 174 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Bradshaw was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. De'shawn Wren was in the mix as well, providing Scurry-Rosser with two touchdowns.
Scurry-Rosser's victory was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Palmer, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Scurry-Rosser will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mildred at 7:30 p.m. Mildred will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 634th, while Scurry-Rosser is ranked 310th). As for Palmer, they will head out on the road to face off against Rice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rice has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th.
