The Crestline Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Mansfield Christian, falling 78-45. Crestline was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-21.
Amarr Davis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mansfield Christian, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 assists. That's the first time this season that Davis posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Davion Mack, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds.
Crestline bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mansfield Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestline will take on Central Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mansfield Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Peter's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Peter's will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 803rd, while Mansfield Christian is ranked 179th).
