The Evergreen Plainsmen won the last time they faced the Battle Ground Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. Evergreen took their match at home with ease, bagging a 78-29 victory over Battle Ground. With Evergreen ahead 45-17 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Evergreen found their leader in underclassman Kimora Ross, who scored 32 points. Adrian Wright was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Evergreen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Battle Ground, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Evergreen will be playing in front of their home fans against Seton Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Battle Ground, they will head out on the road to face off against Hockinson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
