Lesly Tovar was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samara Graham, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Sierra Lutheran's loss came despite strong showings from Samantha Steyn and Tristin Langemeier. Steyn scored 16 points along with five steals and two blocks, while Langemeier scored two points along with three steals and two blocks. Steyn hasn't dropped below five steals for three straight games.
Sierra Lutheran struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as West Wendover pulled down 13 offensive rebounds.
West Wendover's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Sierra Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Silver Stage comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
