Bridgeton has been on the road for three straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Cedar Creek Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Bridgeton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday.
Last Monday, Bridgeton didn't have too much trouble with Holy Spirit on the road as they won 53-38.
Bridgeton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jameel Purnell out in front who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zikwon Anderson, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cedar Creek's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Atlantic City 73-46. Cedar Creek has not had much luck with Atlantic City recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Bridgeton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cedar Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
