Mishawaka Marian's loss on Saturday came despite strong showings from Jackson Horvath and William Owens. Horvath scored 19 points along with four steals, while Owens dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Horvath grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Zion Rhoades, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Mishawaka Marian and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Gary West Side, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
