Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arrowhead). They secured a 93-87 W over the Mukwonago Indians on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Warhawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Indians are ranked 67th).

The win (which was Arrowhead's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Mukwonago, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arrowhead won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Waunakee at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arrowhead has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Mukwonago, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oconomowoc at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
