Neumann Regional Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took a hard  72-57 fall against the South Williamsport Mountaineers. The Golden Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mountaineers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2024.
 Neumann Regional Academy lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Daiton Thompson, who  posted 21  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andrew Walter, who  scored 14  points.
Neumann Regional Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for South Williamsport,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-3.
 Neumann Regional Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Hughesville  at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for South Williamsport, they will take on Millville at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
