Dayspring Academy entered their tilt with Pleasant View Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over the Pleasant View Christian Warriors. The Shires' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Roberts, who posted 13 points and seven boards. Those 13 points gave Roberts a new career-high. Hollynn Carney was another key player, putting up 13 points along with six assists and three steals.

Dayspring Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pleasant View Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Dayspring Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant View Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-38 defeat against Franklin Road Christian on the 24th.
