Lewis Crumwell Turns in Season-Best Effort
Modoc was led to victory by Lewis Crumwell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Crumwell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also punched in three rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Modoc is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Redding Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Crumwell. Crumwell rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries the last time he and the Lions duked it out back in October of 2023.
