 Meanwhile, Quaker Valley had to endure  a  five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Sewickley Academy by a score of  11-7  on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Quaker Valley's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Like Eden Christian Academy, Quaker Valley also got a great game from a two-way player:  Gavin Fallgren. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (and only one walk). Fallgren was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Oscar Roig was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Noah Fardo, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Eden Christian Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record  this season. As for Quaker Valley, their record now sits at 6-9.
