White Plains fell victim to Jacksonville's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Golden Eagles on the road and fell 62-0. While losing is never fun, White Plains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 304th, while Jacksonville is ranked 72nd).
Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Westbrook Christian were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 30-7 walloping at the hands of Sylvania.
This is the second loss in a row for White Plains and nudges their season record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for Westbrook Christian, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
White Plains might still be hurting after the 47-27 loss they got from Westbrook Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Thankfully for White Plains, Karmichael Cattling (who rushed for 199 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
