After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph's Academy, the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past IMG Academy Blue 55-35. Given Charlotte's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while IMG Academy Blue is ranked 285th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Charlotte's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.22 points. As for IMG Academy Blue, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
