The Martin County Tigers will be playing at home against the Jensen Beach Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After only three points in their last contest, Martin County made sure to put some points up on the board against Central on Friday. Martin County took down Central 41-27.
Martin County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tony Colebrook, who rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Williams, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Meanwhile, Jensen Beach stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Bayside at home to the tune of 27-0. Winning may never get old, but Jensen Beach sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Jonathan Ahern was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 165 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. Another big playmaker for Jensen Beach was Dylan Fatovich, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Martin County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Jensen Beach, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Martin County didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Jensen Beach in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 27-22 win.
