Western SciTech has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Empower College Prep Wolf at 6:30 p.m.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-15, which was the final score in Western SciTech's tilt against Alta Vista Charter two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Empower College Prep beat El Dorado 55-49 on Wednesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Empower College Prep's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while El Dorado is ranked 50th).
Western SciTech's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Empower College Prep, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Western SciTech took a serious blow against Empower College Prep when the teams last played back in February, falling 70-32. Can Western SciTech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
