If the Grind Prep G.R.I.N.D were riding high off their 72-49 takedown of the Oklahoma City S Storm on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Grind Prep fell to Westmoore 58-53. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grind Prep has scored all season.
Westmoore got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Garrett Loper out in front who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Loper pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mishaun Graham, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Grind Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for Westmoore, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Grind Prep and Premier Prep- PHHoenix will face off without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Westmoore and Yukon will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Yukon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Westmoore likes a good challenge.
