The Mandeville Skippers will head out on the road to face off against the Walker Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mandeville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season.
Mandeville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took down Terrebonne 67-51.

It was another big night for Alanna Benoit, who almost dropped a triple-double with 26 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Giulia Balbo was another key player, going 8-for-11 to rack up 18 points.
Benoit wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Mandeville was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Terrebonne only five assists.
Meanwhile, Walker strolled past Dutchtown with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 66-47. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won three in a row.
Mandeville better keep an eye on Arionna Patterson. She was instrumental in Walker's win, going 13-for-21 en route to 31 points along with six boards and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Patterson has scored at least a third of Walker's points. Another player making a difference was La'Shantae Clay, who posted five points in addition to ten assists and four steals.
Mandeville is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points over those games. Walker's record now sits at 30-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Mandeville has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Walker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Mandeville came up short against Walker in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 57-53. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Patterson, who went 8-for-11 on her way to 23 points and five rebounds. Now that Mandeville knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
