Volleyball Recap: Chamblee Wins Going Away Against Dunwoody

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Chamblee and Dunwoody meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Chamblee never let Dunwoody on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Dunwoody saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Simone Stroe had 20 digs and three assists.

Chamblee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season. As for Dunwoody, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chamblee is set to face off against their familiar foe Shiloh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dunwoody will take on rival Decatur at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
