The Lindenwold Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Overbrook Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Thursday, Lindenwold came up short against Haddon Heights and fell 67-54.
Meanwhile, Overbrook unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 49-41 to Burlington Township. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Overbrook has scored all season.
Lindenwold's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-9. As for Overbrook, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.
Lindenwold came out on top in a nail-biter against Overbrook when the teams last played back in February of 2020, sneaking past 69-66. Does Lindenwold have another victory up their sleeve, or will Overbrook turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
