The matchup between the Amity Regional Spartans and the Lyman Hall Trojans on Tuesday hardly resembled the 8-2 effort from their previous meeting. Amity Regional really took it to Lyman Hall for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-32 win at home. With that win, Amity Regional brought their scoring average up to 60.5 points per game.
Among those leading the charge was Dylan Spark, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Collin Tenney, who scored ten points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Amity Regional and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Lyman Hall, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amity Regional will challenge Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lyman Hall is on the road again on Thursday and play against Sheehan at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Sheehan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Thursday.
