The Bloomfield Bobcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Aztec on the road to the tune of 42-0. Fans of Bloomfield have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Bloomfield's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points per game. As for Aztec, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will face off against Gallup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gallup will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Mexico Rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Bloomfield is ranked ninth). As for Aztec, they will head out on the road to face off against Kirtland Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
