Galion lost to Lexington on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Galion was the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over Lexington.

Nate McMullen looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Max Albert, who scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Allen Carver, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Galion back to even at 1-1. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Galion and Lexington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Galion will take on rival Clear Fork at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lexington is set to challenge their familiar foe West Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
