After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Pueblo Central is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Alamosa Mean Moose at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Last Saturday, Pueblo Central made easy work of Eaton and carried off a 32-7 victory.
Meanwhile, Alamosa never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 51-0 win over Banning Lewis Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mean Moose.
Alamosa had a senior duo take command as Dyson Woodward rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries and Zane Zook rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Kevin Gonzales Jr. also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Alamosa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Banning Lewis Academy only rushed for 38.

Pueblo Central's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Alamosa, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
