Given Stone Bridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Potomac Falls is ranked 156th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Stone Bridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sravya Janapati, who scored 16 points along with two steals and two blocks. Emma Spizuoco was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Stone Bridge has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Potomac Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
