The Idea Timberwolves waltzed into Tuesday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past KIPP DC Legacy College Prep 37-17. For Idea, this counts as revenge for the 45-18 loss KIPP DC Legacy College Prep walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Idea's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asaisna Greene, who scored 15 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Greene has scored at least 25% of Idea's points. Another player making a difference was Ar'Janay Jackson, who scored 11 points.
Idea's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Idea won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Eastern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Parkside at 4:30 p.m. Parkside comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
