After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loreauville, Lafayette was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Highland Baptist Christian Bears. Considering the Lions have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Lauren Williams looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March.
