Brookhaven won against Northeast Jones on Friday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Panthers beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 7-6 win on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Brookhaven and bumps their season record up to 11-13. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Northeast Jones, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-12.

Brookhaven will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
