Troy found their leader in underclassman Stetson Merritt, who scored 40 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Merritt has scored all season. Legend Merritt was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Averill Park suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-33 walloping at the hands of Columbia.
Troy's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Averill Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
