It was a good run, but Tinley Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Oak Lawn Spartans, falling 79-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Tinley Park's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Oak Lawn, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Tinley Park will take on Berwyn/Cicero Morton in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Lawn, they and Brother Rice will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Oak Lawn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Brother Rice likes a good challenge.
