Evergreen Park won the last time they faced Thornton Fractional North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs blew past the Meteors 19-1. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Aramis Campos looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Evergreen Park got a massive performance out of Carlos Flores, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cadyn Kummer, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

The win made it two in a row for Evergreen Park and bumps their season record up to 15-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Thornton Fractional North, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evergreen Park will welcome Oak Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Bengals have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Thornton Fractional North, they will host Richards at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Meteors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
